The Domestic Violence Outreach is a parish organization that provides education and assistance to the parish community regarding domestic violence. The committee works in conjunction with the Archdiocese of Chicago Domestic Violence Outreach and its mission to provide awareness, services, and prevention throughout the archdiocese. Working at the parish level, the Domestic Violence Outreach organizes special events, including guest lectures, in the month of October in order to increase education, awareness, and support for parishioners. Additionally, the committee participates in the Annual Archdiocese of Chicago Benefit Gala held in March.
New members are always welcomed. The committee meets on the third Sunday of the month at 9:45am in the Parish Hall.
