Photographer Ministry

“For your eyes have seen
all the great work of the LORD
that he did” (Dt. 11:7)

There’s a saying “A picture is worth a thousand words”, and it’s very true when you want to look back through the times at the old and recent history of St. Thomas the Apostle, at the most beautiful and memorable moments of our Parish Life, at the eyes and smiles of the members of our parish family, at our plans, efforts, activities, achievements and even dreams.

Who we are: We are “attentive eyes” of the St. Thomas the Apostle parish, who serve the Parish Family by capturing the essence and spirit of our life and people in a very respectful and non-intrusive way, always preserving the atmosphere of worship. We use the power of photography to see the present of our Parish, to create history, and to save it for the future.

What we do: We capture the atmosphere, the beauty and key moments of daily activities of God’s people in extraordinary variety at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, including:

  • the Solemnities and special Masses,
  • various church events and all kind of memorable moments,
  • beauty of our Church and Lawn at different times and seasons,
  • any additional interesting, fun, and visual activities,
  • sharing them with our Parish through Website, Facebook, Parish Bulletin, etc. and saving them in the Parish Archives.
  • taking or collecting photos for special parish needs, like booklets, posters, postcards etc.
  • planning and preparing photo-exhibits (optional).

Requirements: Anyone with a passion for photography is welcome.

Time Commitment: Presence at most important church events is expected.

Contact: Currently vacant. We need you!
